VIRTUAL INDIVIDUAL 5K

Registration Fee $35

Register any time to be a virtual supporter. All virtual registrants will receive a race packet in the mail. Nothing is required after registration and no special add-ons during registration. Your race fee covers the shipping of your packet. There is no times to upload, and nothing to report. Just enjoy your packet knowing you’ve supported the cause.

Kids Fun Run!

Registration Fee $0

Do you have a little one that want to race too? You can either register them to to the entire 5K (Information above) with you or at the end of the race all children under 5 can line up for free and race to the finish line as we all clap. No
pre-registration is required for this event. Each child will receive a medal when they cross the finish line.

RACE FAQ’S

WHY A 5K?

WaterOne has a passion for water because water touches everything we care about: family, health, safety, and community. We serve our community by bringing award-winning water to homes, businesses, and public places. When we realized that our water tower was exactly 5k from the City of Olathe's tower, we knew we needed to create an unique race for a good cause.

RULES

For your safety, please leave dogs, skateboards, in-line skates and bicycles at home.  However, strollers are welcome. We take safety very seriously. Please see our section related to COVID-19 precautions.

REGISTRATION

Register online at runsignup.com or print and mail the registration form. Online registration will NOT close before race day, however, giveaways such as t-shirts and water bottles may have limited availability on the day of the race. To ensure you receive race giveaways, register before April 25th.

PARKING

Parking is available on our property and in the adjacent parking lots near WaterOne. (View the Parking Map)

RACE PACKETS

Packet pick-up will be on Wednesday, May 1st from Noon-6pm inside our lobby of our Administrative Office at 10747 Renner Blvd. Lenexa KS 66219. You can also pick up your packet on the day of the event starting at 7 am.

AWARDS

Each participant of the 5K race will receive a t-shirt, reusable water bottle, participation medal, and free photos from the event. The Kids Fun Run participants will receive a medal when they cross the finish line.

Special awards will be given to the top male and female finishers overall, as well as the top male and female finishers over 40 years of age. 

Medals will also be given to the top male and female in each of the following age groups: 
19 and under
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60-69
70+

CHIP TIMING

KC Running Company will provide bib-mounted disposable chips with your race packet or chips that attach to your shoe laces. Quick post-race results and communication will be posted on the ‘results’ section of this website. If you’d like them texted to you be sure to include that in your registration on RunSignUp.

REFUND POLICY

This is a rain-or-shine event; no backup rain date is planned.  No refunds will be given even if the race is canceled for unsafe weather conditions such as a tornado. Otherwise, we will run in rain, cold, or snow!

VOLUNTEER
